Epic Asian Markets Update

stock tips epic research Asian shares slipped and the dollar inched higher in early Asian trade on Wednesday, as concerns about a possible US government shutdown and uncertainty about the US Federal Reserve’s policy outlook made investors hesitant to take aggressive positions, reported Reuters.



South Korea’s Seoul Composite fell 0.74 percent or 14.92 points at 1,992.18. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted shed 0.50 percent or 41.34 points at 8,257.78. China’s Shanghai Composite slipped 0.20 percent or 4.49 points at 2,203.04. Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.19 percent or 27.48 points at 14,705.13. Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,211.75. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.19 percent or 43.66 points at 23,222.70.
