Raghu Ram Rajan Profile

Raghuram Govind Rajan is one of the world's top ten economists 23th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

In 2008 he was appointed economic adviser to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, t hat same year, he chaired a meeting of the High Level Committee on Financial R e fom whose final report was submitted to the Planning Commission. In 2012 he was appointed Chief Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Finance.

The economic crisis during 2008 in Europe and US, Raghuram Rajan had wrote a research paper for that economic crisis during 2008-12 include the detailed information on the causes of the economic crisis.

After taking charge as RBI chief he has big responsibility to improve Economy of Country and support Indian currency.
