Epic Research Update : Sensex sees all-time closing high

The 30-share BSE Sensex saw record closing high on Thursday supported by capital goods and financials stocks. The gradual rise in equity benchmarks for the fourth consecutive session with some caution is may be in anticipation of no hike in policy rates by RBI in the forthcoming monetary policy due on January 28.

The index rose 35.99 points to 21,373.66. The 50-share NSE Nifty closed at new 2014 high of 6,345.65, up 6.70 points over previous day’s value.
