NTPC, the country’s biggest power producer, has received an investment approval for North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (3×660 MW) to be implemented in the state of Jharkhand at an appraised current estimated cost of Rs 14,366.58 crore. The board of directors at its meeting has accorded for the same.
