Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian equities started the week with losses on Monday amid rising geopolitical tensions over Ukraine

China’s Shanghai Composite was down 0.75 percent or 15.31 points at 2,021.21. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell 0.50 percent or 111.10 points at 22,112.43.

Japan’s Nikkei shed 1.20 percent or 172.55 points at 14,256.71. Singapore’s Straits Times declined 0.31 percent or 10.18 points at 3,257.39.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 0.21 percent or 4.05 points at 1,975.71. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted slipped 0.71 percent or 62.56 points at 8,711.56.
