Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian markets slipped on Tuesday amid caution over developments in Hong Kong and as investors focused on data in China and Japan.



Hong Kong’s Hang Seng plunged 1.33 percent or 309.13 points at 22,920.08. Japan’s Nikkei slipped 1 percent or 163.51 points at 16,147.13.



Singapore’s Straits Times shed 0.70 percent or 22.94 points at 3,266.78. South Korea’s Seoul Composite fell 0.36 percent or 7.32 points at 2,019.28.



Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted declined 0.59 percent or 52.54 points at 8,908.22. China’s Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,356.04.
