The Indian Equity benchmark declined of day after market raced to record fresh high yesterday, the Sensex falling 161 points, the first time biggest Intra-day fall in nearly six week.
Closing update:- The 30-share Sensex index closed fall 161.49 points or 0.57% at 28338.05, it touched a high of 28541.22 and touch a low of 28217.50 in trade today.
The 50-share Nifty index ended down 67.05 points or 0.79% at 8463.10, it was touched a high of 8535.35 and touch a low of 8429.45 in trade today.
Among Including stocks 52 week highs today, Atul Auto, Castrol, Dr. Reddy's, HDFC, HDFC bank, JK Tyre, Ricoh, Torrent Pharma and Zee Ent.
Among the nifty stocks, BHEL 3.05%, ZEEL 2.19%, Hindunilvr 2.05%, Cipla 1.67%, Dr. Reddy's 1.64%, ONGC 1.38%, HDFC bank 1.27%, H
DFC 1.08%, Reliance 0.93%, Bharti Airtel 0.89% were top gainers today.
ITC 5.01%, DLF 3.93%, NMDC 3.77%, Kotak Bank 3.40%, IDFC 3.04%, Bank of baroda 2.90%, PNB 2.52%, Tata steel 2.50%, Ultra cements 2.31%, Indusindbk 2.28% were top losers today.
