The closing update:- The 30-share Sensex index closed gain 183.67 points or 0.67% at 27458.38, it touched a high of 27507.67 and touch a low of 27119.63 in trade today.



The 50-share nifty index ended high 49.90 points or 0.61% at 8284.50, it touched a high of 8303.30 and touch a low of 8190.80.



Sensex top gainers:- Hind.unilever 5.94%, Infosys 5.02%, Dr. Reddy's 3.21%, TCS 2.80%, ONGC 2.77%, Cipla 2.33%, RIL 2.09%, Tata motors 1.88%, Wipro 1.54%, Hindalco Inds 1.51%, Sun Pharma 1.49%.



Nifty top gainers:- Tech mahindra 4.54%, Infosys 5.16%, Dr. Reddy's 3.02%, TCS 2.71%, ONGC 2.57%, Cipla 2.42%, Reliance 2.31%, Tata motors 1.76%, Sun Pharma 1.73%.



Sensex top losers:- NTPC 3.31%, Bajaj Auto 2.80%, ITC 1.59%, ICICI bank 1.48%, Sesa Goa 1.36%, Axis bank 1.32%, Bharti Airtel 1.32%.
