Lead down on global trend, subdued domestic demand

Lead prices fell 0.54 per cent to Rs 110.40 per kg today after participants reduced exposures, tracking a weak trend overseas and subdued domestic demand.



At the Multi Commodity exchange, lead for delivery in April shed 60 paise, or 0.54 per cent, to Rs 110.40 per kg in a business turnover of six lots.



Metal prices for delivery in March also fell by 40 paise, or 0.36 per cent, to trade at Rs 109.60 per kg in 348 lots.
