In the banking space
ICICI Bank shed 0.98 percent at USD 34.29 and HDFC Bank slipped 1.24 percent at USD 32.58.
In the IT space
Infosys was down 0.96 percent at USD 54.41 and Wipro fell 2.23 percent at USD 11.41.
In the other sectors
Tata Motors was down 1.07 percent at USD 30.44 and Dr Reddys Laboratories slipped 0.74 percent at USD 39.07.
