Epic Asian Markets Update

Asian equity markets on Monday as investors adopt a wait-and-see approach before the Federal Reserve’s policy decision this week.

China’s Shanghai Composite shed 0.34 percent or 7.41 points at 2,188.66.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng declined 0.43 percent or 99.64 points at 23,146.32.

Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.73 percent or 112.05 points at 15,291.06.

Singapore’s Straits Times was down 0.18 percent or 5.58 points at 3,060.44.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite was flat at 1,964.22.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted slipped 0.52 percent or 43.30 points at 8,333.64.
