In the IT space
Infosys rose 0.59 percent at USD 56.20 and Wipro added 1.53 percent at USD 11.96.
In the banking space
ICICI Bank jumped 4.81 percent at USD 37.25 and HDFC Bank gained 6.53 percent at USD 35.71.
In the other sectors
Tata Motors was up 0.9 percent at USD 30.31 and Dr Reddys Laboratories was up 1.46 percent at USD 40.29.
