Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Japanese shares fell on Wednesday following the previous day’s 3 percent rally while most other Asian markets were lower amid a lack of clear direction from their US peers. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.17 percent or 37.34 points at 22,625.06 while Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.52 percent or 76.46 points at 14,766.78.

Singapore’s Straits Times gained 0.62 percent or 18.97 points at 3,089.75 while South Korea’s Seoul Composite was down 0.45 percent or 8.82 points at 1,938.09. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.14 percent or 12.31 points at 8,568.54. China’s Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,120.15.
