Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

The blue-chip Dow shed 0.2 percent, while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 index inched down 0.1 percent.

China’s Shanghai Composite fell 0.38 percent or 11.82 points at 3,091.80. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.24 percent or 53.55 points at 22,370.75.

Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.33 percent or 49.42 points at 15,002.18. Singapore’s Straits Times declined 0.38 percent or 11.82 points at 3,091.80.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite was down 0.26 percent or 5.04 points at 1,959.82.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.34 percent or 28.74 points at 8,604.36.
