Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

China's Shanghai Composite fell 0.33 percent to 2,026.30.

However, Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 143.93 points or 0.67 percent to 21,567.06 and Japan's Nikkei 225 Average was up 227.65 points or 1.61 percent to 14,382.77.

Singapore's Straits Times climbed 26.18 points or 0.88 percent to 3,014.45 and South Korea's Seoul Composite gained 7.21 points or 0.38 percent at 1,915.10. Taiwan Weighted advanced 83.45 points or 1 percent to 8,394.46.
