The market rallied for the third consecutive session on Tuesday supported by banks and capital goods that got slaughtered badly in last sell-off due to Fed move and repo rate hike by RBI in January.
The Sensex rose 170.15 points to 20,634.21 after rising as much as 221 points intraday. The Nifty closed above the 6,100 level for the first time in last 14 sessions, climbing 53.80 points to 6,127.10.
