Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian equities rose on Wednesday, rebounding after the previous day’s losses, on hopes of fresh stimulus measures in Europe and China.

China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.16 percent or 3.26 points at 2,070.57. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.72 percent or 157.44 points at 21,889.76.

Japan’s Nikkei was flat at 14,418.77. Singapore’s Straits Times jumped 0.66 percent or 20.57 points at 3,124.74.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite gained 0.75 percent or 14.61 points at 1,955.86. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted added 0.39 percent or 33.80 points at 8,723.10.
