Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has won the ‘World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Award for Innovative Enterprises’ for its strong involvement in the use of the Patent system and its achievements in Research & Development (R&D). The award was received by Sh. B. Prasada Rao, CMD, BHEL from Amitabh Kant, Secretary, DIPP, Government of India (GoI).
