Asian Markets Update by Epic Research

Asian stocks were mixed on Tuesday as investor risk appetite was dealt a triple blow over developments in Iraq, Ukraine and Argentina.



China’s Shanghai Composite declined 0.63 percent or 13.07 points at 2,072.91. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng shed 0.40 percent or 93.65 points at 23,207.02.



Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.54 percent or 81.27 points at 15,014.56. Singapore’s Straits Times was down 0.40 percent or 13.28 points at 3,276.98.



South Korea’s Seoul Composite added 0.22 percent or 4.37 points at 1,997.96. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was flat at 9,210.60.
