Asian Markets Update by Epic Research

Asian stock markets were mixed in cautious trade on Wednesday as investors looked ahead to the Federal Reserve’s policy decision.



China’s Shanghai Composite shed 0.31 percent or 6.42 points at 2,060.28. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 23,192.26.



Japan’s Nikkei added 0.48 percent or 71.37 points at 15,047.34. Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,272.06.



South Korea’s Seoul Composite declined 0.33 percent or 6.66 points at 1,994.89. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.20 percent or 18.04 points at 9,258.64.
