Asian markets were trading mixed on Friday. US stocks closed at record highs on Thursday, with both the Dow and the S&P 500 advancing further into uncharted territory,

China’s Shanghai Composite was down 0.14 percent or 2.76 points at 2,038.12.



Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.24 percent or 54.60 points at 23,164.26.



Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.13 percent or 20.04 points at 15,059.33.



Singapore’s Straits Times added 0.39 percent or 12.75 points at 3,292.39.



Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.17 percent or 15.12 points at 9,155.84. Seoul Composite shut today.
