Tata Power Solar (TPS), a 100% subsidiary of Tata Power has successfully commissioned the 50 MW solar photovoltaic project for NTPC, as part of their mandate to expand their renewable energy portfolio to 1,000 MW by 2017. The 50MW flagship project in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, is the largest Indian solar project to use domestically manufactured solar modules.
