Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.60 percent or 90.88 points at 5,304.51. Singapore’s Straits Times was up 0.17 percent or 5.68 points at 3,307.09.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite added 0.22 percent or 4.62 points at 2,066.98.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted gained 0.32 percent or 29.35 points at 9,260.66. China’s Shanghai Composite declined 0.30 percent or 6.65 points at 2,216.23. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 24,880.15.
