Asian Markets Update by Epic Research

Asian equities declined on Tuesday as investors awaited central bank decisions in India and Australia.



Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was down 0.10 percent or 25.54 points at 24,574.54. South Korea’s Seoul Composite shed 0.52 percent or 10.75 points at 2,069.67.



Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted tumbled 1.13 percent or 105.33 points at 9,224.86. Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.21 percent or 31.79 points at 15,442.71.



However, Singapore’s Straits Times was up 0.29 percent or 9.61 points at 3,328.01. China’s Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,222.29.
