Power To The People

Why are the Germans so good at energy? Well, the reason is pretty obvious: they give power to the people, not corporations. Instead of letting large utilities decide on building power plants and forcing the people to accept whatever the utilities decide they need—usually whatever creates the most revenue for the utilities themselves—the German way is to let individuals and communities decide. And, that means that Citizens own half of German renewable energy . We could learn a lot from Germany.
