The 30-share Sensex index closed all time high 248.16 points or 0.92% at 27346.33, it was touched high of 27390.60 and touch a low of 27088.65.
The 50-share nifty index ended high 78.75 points or 0.97% at 8169.20, it was touched a new high of 8181.55 and touch a low of 8085.20.
The BSE index closed are green signal, but IT, Oil & gas, reality share buying trade signal today. About 1569 shares advanced, 1354 shares declined and 120 shares were unchanged.

Maruti Suzuki India has gained 2% to Rs 3,262, also its record high on NSE, after reporting better-than-expected 28.8% year on year jump in net profit at Rs 863 crore for the second quarter ended September 2014 (Q2), on back of strong operational performance. The company had profit of Rs 670 crore in previous year quarter.
