Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian indices opened mixed on Wednesday amid a lack of a strong leads from Wall Street overnight.



China’s Shanghai Composite fell 0.33 percent or 8.13 points at 2,461.55.



Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.12 percent or 29.11 points at 23,837.39.



Japan’s Nikkei gained 1.46 percent or 249.32 points at 17,373.43.



Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,290.64.



South Korea’s Seoul Composite added 0.40 percent or 7.94 points at 1,970.94.



Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted shed 0.51 percent or 46.21 points at 8,987.93.
