Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian equities were mostly lower on the last trading day of the week, brushing off a positive finish on Wall Street.



China’s Shanghai Composite fell 0.72 percent or 17.81 points at 2,467.79.



Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 24,032.49.



Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.30 percent or 52.24 points at 17,340.55.



Singapore’s Straits Times added 0.22 percent or 7.20 points at 3,312.13.



South Korea’s Seoul Composite declined 0.82 percent or 16.08 points at 1,944.43.



Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was down 0.29 percent or 25.84 points at 8,954.83.
