South Korean shares led gains in Asia on Friday, while other regional bourses kicked off trade with a big yawn.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 eked out marginal gains to extend the prior day’s rebound, with investors eyeing slight weakness in the yen in early Asian trade. Dollar-yen ticked up 0.15 percent to trade around 123.56.
