US stocks fell on Friday ahead of a summit next week that could decide whether Greece will need to print its own currency and ditch the euro.
The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI fell 101.56 points, or 0.56 percent, to 18,014.28, the S&P 500 .SPX lost 11.48 points, or 0.54 percent, to 2,109.76 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC dropped 15.95 points, or 0.31 percent, to 5,117.00.
