Sensex Up 246 Pts, Nifty 7,872, 15 Sept Nifty Future Trading Calls Tomorrow

The equity market end off the week on a positive note on Monday. Banks drove market higher on hope rate cut. The BSE Midcap index outperformance gain 1.3 per cent. The 30-share Sensex closed high 246.49 points at 25856.70 and The NSE Nifty index climbed 82.95 points at 7872.25. 

The BSE Capital goods up 0.35%, FMCG Index 0.55%, Healthcare index up 1.26%, IT Index up 0.63%, Bank Index 1.88%, Auto index rose 0.35% and BSE Metals rising 2.70 per cent each. 

29 of the 30 BSE stocks today green sound, NTPC,Vedanta, Hindalco and Tata steel were the top gainers today. 

Among NTPC 5.06%, VEDL 4.12%, BPCL 4.04%, Hindalco 3.75%, Tata Steel 3.46%, Tata Power 3.44%, Axis bank 3.05%, Bank Of baroda 2.87%, Yes Bank 2.71%, Power Grid 2.70% were top nifty gainers while Cairn 1.51%, IDEA 1.07%, Bajaj Auto 0.35%, Maruti 0.17%, TCS 0.16%, Hindustan Unilever 0.04% were top losers today.
