The Market continues upward momentum for the fifth consecutive session on Tuesday. However, the market managed to recover after losing early strength. the market seen good growth in early trading today, but after showing sluggish in the market for some time got to strongly again. The Sensex closed at 26932.88 , up 147.33 points or 0.55% and Nifty was closed at 8152.90, up 33.60 points or 0.41%.
Closing update:- The 30-share Sensex index climbed 147.33 points or 0.55% at 26932.88, it was touched a high of 27010.27 and touch a low of 26751.25.
The 50-share Nifty index gained 33.60 points or 0.41% at 8152.90, it was touched a high of 8180.95 and touch a low of 8096.50.
Among Tata Motors 5.74%, ITC 4.13%, Cipla 3.81%, Coal India 3.71%, Gail 3.65%, IDEA 3.25%, ONGC 2.72%, Tata power 2.68%, Cairn 2.65%, Hindinlvr 2.37% were top gainers today.
BHEL 3.16%, Infosys 2.09%, Ultra Cements 1.70%, ACC 1.58%, NTPC 1.57%, Axis Bank 1.29%, Bank of baroda 1.29%, ZEEL 1.27%, Maruti 1.11%, Tech-mahindra 1.04% were top losers today.
