The Closing Update:- The 30-share Sensex was closed down 175.40 points or 0.65% at 26904.11, it was touched a high of 27305.04 and touched a low of 26855.75. 

The 50-share Nifty index ended slugged 46.10 points or 0.56% at 8143.60, it was touched a high of 8244.50 and touch a low of 8128.20. 

Nifty Top Gainers:- VEDL 6.37%, Hindalco 4.59%, Gail 2.54%, Tata Motors 2.08%, BHEL 1.78%, NTPC 1.07%, Ultra Cements 0.97%, Asian paints 0.96%, HCL Tech 0.80%, Adani ports 0.77%.
