Buzzing stocks in Tuesday’s trade: Bharti Infratel, Havells India and more

NSE Nifty began the day trading above 8,130. At 9.23 am, Sensex was trading 2.36 points down at 26,394.41, while NSE Nifty was trading 2.65 points up at 8,113.25.

Top stocks which are likely to remain in focus today:

DLF: Stocks of the company were trading 1.99 per cent up at Rs 133.10 (9.26 am) after its rental arm gets $1 billion bids from big PE firms -GIC, Blackstone & Brookfield among suitors who filed offers for 40 per cent stake.

Havells: Stocks of the electrical equipment maker were trading 1.33 per cent up at Rs 363.15 (9.31 am) as it has increased its stake in Bangalore-based Promptec Renewable Energy Solutions to up to 70 per cent for an undisclosed sum.

Larsen & Toubro: Engineering firm Larsen & Toubro has plans to list its IT arm L&T Infotech by October this year and expects to raise between Rs 2,000-2,600 crore from the initial public offer.

Bharti Infratel: Stocks of the company were trading 0.33 per cent up at Rs 379.85 (9.30 am) as before market hours it announced buyback of 4.70 crore equity shares of Rs 10 at a price of Rs 425 per share.

IVRCL: Infrastructure firm IVRCL on Monday said it has allotted 6.46 lakh shares to Bank of Nova Scotia as part of Strategic Debt Restructuring (SDR).

Omaxe: Stocks of the the real estate firm will be in focus as it sold residential and commercial properties worth Rs 1,648 crore in last fiscal, up 11 per cent from the 2014-15, despite fall in average sales realisation.
