Indices closed down but closed near or @ high of the day. Oil was down & GE earnings was no help.

S&P 500 @ 2472.54, low 2465.06, high 2472.54

RSI @ 66.27

CMF @ 0.163

Internals were :

Down volume led by 1.64 to 1 in NYSE & 1.31 to 1 in Nasdaq

Declining stocks led by 1.10 to 1 in NYSE & 1.46 to 1 in Nasdaq

Net new 52 wk highs were leading by 169 in NYSE & 87 in Nasdaq

VIX Down 2.30% @ 9.36... reached new 52 wk low of 9.30 today..

Oil @ $45.59

Gold @ $1254.90

Canadian $ @ .7455
