Nifty below 10,100 amid consolidation; BHEL, Axis Bank top gainers

Equity benchmarks continued to consolidate in afternoon after erasing morning gains, tracking weakness in Europe amid geopolitical tensions.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 19.58 points at 32,205.99 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 0.20 points to 10,079.10.

The market breadth was balanced as about 1,201 shares advanced while 1,203 shares declined on the BSE.
