Indices UP 1.27% to 1.53%....NICE !!!

Indices are sharply higher on optimism about trade talk resumption in October between US & China.

S&P 500 @ 2975.14, high 2985.86, low 2960.60

Internals are positive by almost 3 to 1

Oil UP 41 cents

Gold Down $32.40

Canadian $ Down 17 tick @ .6761

VIX Down 7.79% @ 15.98

In my portfolio..added 60% CIEN @ $38.02

CIEN reported a huge beat in EPS by 17 cents and also a beat in Sales of Q 3, Guiding ABOVE mid range for Q 4....also guiding Sales growth by 6%.....slight downtick in margin in Q 4 of 1% +- vs Q 3...caused selling......CIEN has recovered its losses to less than half from low of the day.....
