Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian shares early Friday. Tokyo was the sole out performer, buoyed by positive inflation data released before the open.

China’s Shanghai Composite was down 2.11 points to 2,054.93 and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell 158.88 points or 0.70 percent to 22,403.92 at 08:00 hours IST.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 Average gained 100.73 points or 0.70 percent to 14,505.72 while Singapore’s Straits Times declined 13.57 points or 0.41 percent to 3,270.36.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite slipped 10.63 points or 0.53 percent to 1,987.71 and Taiwan Weighted was down 71.21 points or 0.80 percent to 8,874.24.
