Epic Research Update : US Markets

US stocks were mixed on Thursday. The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.5 percent on Apple’s gains a day after the tech giant posted sound second-quarter earnings results. However, worries about growing instability in the Crimean peninsula weighed on the broader stock market.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was little changed while the S&P 500 eked out a 0.2 percent gain.
