Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian markets were trading mixed on Wednesday. However, China’s April HSBC Flash Manufacturing purchasing manager’s index (PMI) was at 48.3 versus 48, MoM.

China’s Shanghai Composite was down 0.35 percent or 7.19 points at 2,065.64. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slipped 0.34 percent or 77.69 points at 22,652.99.

Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.71 percent or 101.97 points at 14,490.74. Singapore’s Straits Times declined 0.49 percent or 16.01 points at 3,261.52.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 0.13 percent or 2.69 points at 2,006.91. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted rose 0.35 percent or 31.11 points at 9,005.82.
