Epic Research Update : Asian Markets

Asian equity markets rose on Thursday after US indices posted their biggest one-day gain of 2014.



China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.17 percent or 3.99 points at 2,386.79.



Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 1.10 percent or 256.27 points at 23,519.60.



Japan’s Nikkei was up 0.48 percent or 75.07 points at 15,671.05.



Singapore’s Straits Times added 0.71 percent or 23 points at 3,249.71.



Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted jumped 0.48 percent or 42.97 points at 8,998.15.



South Korea’s Seoul Composite shut today.
