Mentha oil maintains upward march, prices climb over 1%

Amid rising domestic demand and tight supplies from producing belts, mentha oil maintained an upward march for the third straight day and prices climbed over 1 per cent to Rs 928.70 per kg in futures trade today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in June month advanced by Rs 9.50, or 1.03 per cent to Rs 928.70 per kg in business turnover of 59 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in May contracts traded higher by Rs 8.70, or 0.96 per cent to Rs 913.90 per kg in 241 lots.
